Doctor Who Mayathon!

by Danielle Robbins

This May I have chosen to embark on a pretty big and dare I say awesome adventure. Before I tell you what that adventure is I have a few confessions to make. First off, I have never seen one episode of Doctor Who… EVER. Second, this is partly because it kind of confuses me. I know, I know it’s time to get with the program.

Hunger Games Plum Candy Apples | Recipe

by Danielle Robbins

Just like the rest of America, I too went and saw the Hunger Games this weekend. I new that from the moment I heard they were making a movie out of the book I wanted to make a recipe from it. But I just couldn’t decide what to make. There is so much food portrayed in the book and the film, the choice was hard. The Lorax Truffula Trees Cupcakes | Recipe

by Danielle Robbins

And yes, you guessed it; I’ve got a recipe for homemade cotton candy coming your way! These cupcakes are perfect for birthday parties or maybe that little extra bit of cute that your weekend needs.

Happy Meal Dessert | Recipe

by Danielle Robbins

Wow, it has been quite some time since I have posted a recipe! My computer has been on the fritz and was making it very difficult to post. So I said screw it and decided to take the leap back in no matter how much trouble it would give me. It feels good to finally be posting again!

The other day I headed over to Pacific Place to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and couldn’t help but have recipes floating in my head. The more than odd food choices of the character, Lisbeth, brought some fun and albeit, strange recipes to mind. I loved the Happy Meals she ate over and over again in the film (a guilty pleasure of my own) and had to make my own spin on it here. And by spin, I of course mean dessert! And who knows this may even be a healthier alternative to the real thing…
