I have recently began contributing to an awesome website/podcast called Clinically Inane and thought you would love to see those recipes/posts. So we are starting a new feature called Order Out that highlights the guest posts and contributions that David and I have on other websites that are not at Eating The Screen. It will be a great way to link up to new blogs, podcasts, and websites that you might not have seen before too. Plus it might help us to keep Eating The Screen updated more often!
I’m going to start the first Order Out with a recipe I shared with Clinically Inane a few months ago. Get ready for it… Garlic Fries! You can check out the recipe over at Clinically Inane.

In The Impossible Astronaut episode of Doctor Who they are invited mysteriously to witness the Doctor’s death only to find that a past Doctor himself had arrived after he was killed. They all run into him at a diner in the Midwest. After declaring that Stetsons are cool, I couldn’t help but create a diner inspired recipe that the Doctor himself would deem… cool.
I have also wanted to use mint from my mint plant that has been growing out of control and this is the perfect time just for that. A sweet combination of Oreos & mint that would fit into a Midwest diner with a twist. Just like the Doctor would have wanted it.

Throughout our entire Doctor Who marathon I’ve wanted to post some delicious Doctor Who themed recipes. I thought it would be very fitting to start with a cocktail named after the TARDIS. For those who haven’t seen Doctor Who before, the TARDIS is the Doctor’s time machine/spaceship that he uses to travel through space and time. TARDIS stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space.
This cocktail will be the perfect addition to any Doctor Who party and will leave your guests wanting more. So stick around for some more Doctor Who recipes on their way.

In case you missed the Doctor Who MAYathon here’s a compilation of all the tweets throughout the whole month. It seems as though our MAYathon has turned into a JUNEathon. It certainly was a big feat to try and watch all 6 seasons in one month, and I’ll admit my social life has taken a big hit. Has it been worth it? Uh, yes, I do think it has! We’re hoping to be all caught up with the current season by the end of June. I’ll continue to update the tweets as we go through our MAYathon, but enjoy these for now (The most current tweet is first). You can also keep up with the MAYathon by following @eatingthescreen or get involved by using #DWMayathon.

This May I have chosen to embark on a pretty big and dare I say awesome adventure. Before I tell you what that adventure is I have a few confessions to make. First off, I have never seen one episode of Doctor Who… EVER. Second, this is partly because it kind of confuses me. I know, I know it’s time to get with the program.
